The Bowling Club

2012  OUTDOOR SEASON

The new season for the bowls club opened on Saturday 14th April with a bring and share tea.

Please feel free to come along and have a go at any of these times and have a free taster session or two, to see if this is something you might enjoy. Sessions are not restricted to members of the Bowls Club nor to members of the church, but are open to any who may be interested. It is not competitive and complete beginners can play alongside more experienced players. Anyone can play regardless of age, ability or disability and no special equipment is needed as we have spare bowls available. If wet, we play indoors on the mats we use through the winter months.

We play at the following times :

·        Monday evenings                        6.30 pm

·        Wednesday afternoons              2.30 pm

·        Saturday afternoons                   2.30 pm

All are welcome to come & have a go - all equipment and tuition provided, free of charge. Just bring a pair of flat shoes. Have a go to see if you like it, & then play on a pay-as-you-go basis (£3 per session) or join for the season (£45).

We are a very friendly club and you will be made very welcome; no obligation to join.

Captain:  John Wright.

All are welcome to come along, free bowls and tuition are provided.
