Our church exists to express faith in God and to proclaim and promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, nurture, service and outreach.

We will seek to fulfil our mission by:

	Providing warm fellowship within the church
	Caring for people within the church and community
	Creating a welcoming and open community
	Reaching out to people of all ages
	Seeking appropriate forms of worship
	Developing specific strategies for mission
	The personal witness and example of members

Sutton Coldfield Methodist Church:

• Is in the Birmingham (Sutton Park) Methodist Circuit and shares in Circuit Ministry, Mission and Worship.
   

• Supports the World Church with prayer and giving.
   

• Shares in Churches Together in Central Sutton
  Coldfield and seeks to work with other Christians in the community.

Our Calling

As members of the Methodist Church we are called to:

worship within the local church, including regular sharing in Holy Communion, and through personal prayer

learning and caring, through Bible study and meeting for fellowship, so that I may grow in faith and support others in their discipleship

service, by being a good neighbour in the community, challenging injustice and using my resources to support the Church in its mission in the world

evangelism, through working out my faith in daily life and sharing Christ with others.
